Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! Amidst all of the hustle and bustle, you may or may not have noticed my absence here on the blog, on the website, in my shop, and on social media. I am sad to report to you that on Christmas Day, on her 87th birthday, my sweet Grandma lost her year-long battle with cancer, and passed away. It’s not often that I get personal with you here. However, my Grandma had such a powerful impact on my life and who I’ve become, that I feel an overwhelming need to share something with you that I learned from her.
Find the good in things.
Even though we may be having a rough day, there are others out there who have it harder than we do. Be thankful.
Laughter truly is the best medicine.
“What good is anything if you can’t laugh,” my Grandma would say.
And boy, did she laugh.
Love.
Filling our lives with the love of family and friends will make us rich beyond measure,
because ultimately, there is nothing more powerful than love.
I’d also just like to take a quick moment to say thank you.
Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting me on this creative journey.
I appreciate you all more than I can ever express.
Hugs to you all, and remember to celebrate every day!
