Sweet Shoppe Party Invitations

Well, the big Sweet Shoppe Party is just over a week away and the planning is going great!

There are lots of fun things in store…I can’t wait!

Now that the invitations have all been delivered, you can have a little sneak peek into this sweet soiree.

Here are the lollipop invites…drumroll, please…

Aren’t they adorable?!!  I’m so excited about how they turned out!

I have a big crush on that sherbet colored ribbon, too…love it!

These were so incredibly simple to make.

Just use a circle cutter to create the circles on patterned scrapbook paper.

Print your party wording on white cardstock (here’s what I put on mine):

Then cut the cardstock into circles slightly smaller than your patterned paper.

Use double-sided tape to attach them together.

Secure a lollipop stick to the back of each invite, then hot glue a bow in the front to make it pretty.

I jazzed up the envelopes a little too, just for the fun of it.

Don’t you love them?!!

Stay tuned….the big party details are soon to follow!  🙂

By the way, I want to make sure I give credit to The TomKat Studio for the “sweet” inspiration.  Her adorable invitation idea inspired me to make my own.  THANK YOU!  🙂 affiliatebanner_160x240_girlbirthday-6357373  affiliatebanner_160x240_boybirthday-3825208 Tweet

Yummy Crockpot Meatball Recipe

Awesome and Easy! Any recipe that saves me time is a winner in my book! You can literally throw some frozen meatballs in a crockpot with just TWO ingredients, set it, and forget it! If frozen meatballs just aren’t your thing, our homemade meatball recipe is really easy to make, and only adds less than 30 minutes to your prep time. So incredibly easy, and really tasty, too! You can serve them right out of the crockpot if you want them to stay warm for the duration of your party, or plate them for a nice presentation.

Delish! Get the recipe here.

Candy Centerpieces

Sweet!

It’s been decided that my neice (a.k.a. the most adorable three-year-old-in the whole entire world) is going to have a Candy Land birthday party.

Now, granted, her birthday isn’t until September, but I can’t help myself…I’m already playing around with ideas!

Did you know…

Gumball machines and candy-filled glass jars double as decor and snack stations?

How’s this for a great favor idea…set up a candy buffet and have the guests each fill a goody bag with their favorite treats as they leave. HEAVEN!

I love, love, LOVE the lollipop centerpiece ideas from DylansCandyBar.com, and how stinkin’ cute is the candy cocktail?!!

So, that’s a little dose of candy love from me to you. Hope you have a happy day!

A Touch of Spring

Napkins with a Twist

Accessorizing your napkins is such a cool way to spice up your party table!

I came across this idea on FamilyCircle.com and just couldn’t resist sharing it. Aren’t these little napkin accents great?

With just a little bit of thinking outside the box, you can use this idea for just about any party theme. They’ve used daisies for Spring, sand dollars for a beachy look, and I LOVE the little lollipops…I just may use that idea for my niece’s Candy Land party!

Fun stuff! 🙂

We're Remodeling!

birthday-setting-1994965 Hi there!

Well, you may have noticed that the blog looks a little different. I’m trying my novice hands at creating a design that grabs me, but I’m having a hard time getting the look to strike my fancy.

So, while the look may be changing, all of the fun party stuff is still here.

Have fun looking around, be inspired, and watch your head for falling posts! 🙂
